Visiting

Planning your visit.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome outside and throughout the grounds. While indoors, we ask that you bring service animals only. Please clean up after all pets.

Are children allowed?

Worthington is a family-friendly winery. Our indoor Tasting Room is reserved for guests aged 21 and over due to limited seating capacity. Families with children are welcome anywhere outdoors as weather permits. During winter months, guests visiting with children may reserve a Heated Igloo or sit in our Covered Patio area. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Do you require reservations?

Reservations are recommended but not always required. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability. For larger groups or special occasions, we strongly encourage booking in advance through our reservations page.

Are you open on holidays?

We are open for many holidays throughout the year. Join our email list by contacting us directly to stay up to date on holiday hours and any special closures.

Is there parking on the property?

Yes, free parking is available on-site. We are located at 359 Mountain Road, Somers, CT. Signage will direct you from the entrance.

What should I wear?

Dress comfortably for the outdoors. The property includes walking trails, gardens, and uneven terrain in some areas. We recommend closed-toe shoes if you plan to explore the grounds.

Food and Drinks

What to eat and drink.

Are we allowed to bring our own food?

Yes, outside food is welcome. We sell charcuterie boards daily and host food trucks most weekends. Check the Calendar to see which vendors will be on-site during your visit.

Do you have food trucks or live music?

Food trucks and live music are scheduled most weekends throughout the season. Check the Calendar for specific dates and performers. We recommend joining our email list for the latest updates.

Are we allowed to bring our own beverages?

No outside beverages are permitted. In addition to our full wine menu and specialty wine beverages, we sell a variety of sodas and water bottles. Complimentary tap water is always available.

Can I purchase wine to take home?

Yes, bottles are available for purchase in the tasting room. Bottle sales are also available Monday through Tuesday from 12pm to 6pm for those who want to pick up without a full tasting visit.

Activities and recreation.

Do you allow professional photography?

Yes, photographers of all ages are welcome on the property. All visitors must check in at the tasting room before heading out. Underaged individuals must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

What recreational activities are available?

Worthington offers fishing, canoeing, paddle-boating, hiking, and biking on the property. During winter months, guests can also skate and snowshoe through the grounds. Boat rentals and fishing carry a small fee to help maintain the pond and trails.

Do you allow fishing?

Yes, fishing is permitted on the large beaver pond during regular business hours. All anglers must check in at the tasting room and hold a proper fishing permit. A small fee applies. Underaged individuals must be supervised by an adult.
