The Tasting Room
The Warming House.
Our tasting room is located in Worthington's Warming House, the first building you see when you enter the driveway. Built in 2000 from wooden beams and planks milled directly from the property, the space lives up to its name.
Sit beside the fireplace, settle into the lounge, or take your glass outside to one of the patios. The Warming House is open year-round during posted hours and welcomes walk-ins based on availability.
While You Are Here
More to do than just taste wine.
Explore the Grounds
Over a mile of trails wind through the property and connect to the neighboring Camp Aya Po trail system, giving visitors access to more than 3 miles of woodland trails. The gardens are open daily from 10am to dusk.
Get on the Water
Canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats are available for rent on Worthington Pond. Keep an eye out for the resident beavers and wildlife that call the pond home. Rentals available during winery hours.
Meet the Animals
Visit Stella, Dixie, and their kids Billy, Peg, and Luna at the goat pen. They love visitors and always welcome a handful of their favorite snack. Champ the Wonder-dog keeps watch over everyone.
Stay for a Picnic
Adirondack chairs and outdoor tables are spread across the property. Grab a bottle from the tasting room, find a spot by the gardens or the pond, and make an afternoon of it. Groups of 8 or more should call ahead to reserve a table.
Winter Activities
When conditions allow, the trails are open for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Skating parties and pick-up hockey games happen when the ponds freeze. Rent a heated igloo overlooking the pond for a warm winter experience.
Workshops and Classes
Worthington hosts a variety of workshops and classes throughout the year, from exercise and decorative classes to wine pairings and special events. Check the Calendar for upcoming dates.
Getting Here
359 Mountain Road, Somers, CT.
Worthington Vineyards and Winery is located in northern Connecticut, approximately 20 minutes from Springfield, MA and 40 minutes from Hartford, CT.
Free parking is available on-site. When you arrive, follow the signs from the entrance. The Warming House tasting room is the first building on your left as you come up the driveway.
